Isabelle Olivier

FOUNDER

As a jazz harpist, composer, president and CEO, Isabelle Olivier has charted an unconventional path throughout her career, forging interdisciplinary connections within the arts and exploring various musical styles. Artistic and human exploration through the harp has allowed her to broaden her musical horizons across disciplines and territories.

Having collaborated with exceptional artistic personalities such as Oscar winner filmmaker Agnes Varda, outstanding drummer Peter Erskine, and co-leader for OASIS - Rez Abbasi granted by the Guggenheim Foundation, she is recognizable from the first notes of her rare and fascinating instrument: the harp.

As both a harpist and composer, Isabelle Olivier is a chronicler of the unnoticed ubiquitous. Her music finds delight in the low thump of a foot on a harp’s pedal, the ethereal scrape of fingernail on string.

The artist explores with this EP, a wider range of sounds, mixing pop, folk, and always this touch of electro with which he designed his signature. The result is a harmonious blend of soft guitar loops […], warm synth layers and an ever-present soft and warm voice.
